View Case StudiesA snapshot of where Crown Fulfillment stands in the AI search era, and the opportunity cost of the current visibility gap.
Crown Fulfillment offers exactly what growing ecommerce sellers need: affordable, same-day 3PL from a warehouse minutes from the Port of NY/NJ, with FBA prep, DTC fulfillment, kitting, and transparent pricing. Yet when Shopify store owners, Amazon sellers, and DTC brand founders ask ChatGPT, Google AI, or Perplexity "what's the best affordable 3PL for my ecommerce business?", Crown does not appear anywhere. ShipBob, ShipHype, eFulfillment Service, and Simpl Fulfillment dominate every single AI recommendation. The problem is not your service: it is that your website has zero organic search visibility (DR 2, zero ranking keywords), no structured comparison content, no third-party reviews or directory listings, and the technical foundation AI models need to discover and recommend you simply does not exist yet.
We tested how Crown Fulfillment appears when potential clients ask AI tools to recommend 3PL and fulfillment services. Here is what we found.
ChatGPT defaults to well-known 3PLs like ShipBob, ShipMonk, Red Stag, and eFulfillment Service for ecommerce fulfillment queries. Crown Fulfillment is not in its recommendation set for any tested 3PL or FBA prep query.
AI Overviews for "best 3PL for ecommerce" and "best FBA prep NJ" consistently surface ShipBob, ShipHype, Simpl Fulfillment, and eFulfillment Service. Crown does not appear in any of the four tested queries.
Perplexity draws from comparison sites, Clutch rankings, and structured "best of" content hubs. Without placement in any 3PL comparison list or review directory, Crown has no pathway into Perplexity's recommendations.
Gemini pulls from the same high-authority 3PL comparison sources. No evidence of Crown Fulfillment appearing in any Gemini-generated fulfillment or logistics recommendation.
0 / 4 platforms currently surface Crown Fulfillment in relevant AI-generated recommendations for 3PL, fulfillment, and FBA prep queries.
Structured FAQ schema on service pages, "best 3PL for Shopify sellers" comparison content, Clutch and G2 directory profiles with verified reviews, "Crown vs ShipBob" comparison pages, Trustpilot reviews, and consistent brand mentions across fulfillment industry directories.
We ran the exact searches your prospective clients use when asking AI tools to recommend a fulfillment partner. Here is who appeared, and whether Crown was in the answer.
Crown Fulfillment does not appear in any of the four tested buyer queries, not even for "FBA prep center in New Jersey" which is Crown's home market. The same 5 to 6 competitors dominate every result because they have published the structured comparison content and built the directory presence that AI models extract. Crown's competitive pricing and port proximity are invisible to AI discovery.
Crown's combination of affordable pricing, same-day fulfillment, and proximity to the Port of NY/NJ is a genuinely strong value proposition, especially for cost-conscious Shopify and Amazon sellers. The opportunity is to own the "affordable NJ 3PL" category in AI results through directory listings, review collection, and strategic content. This is a visibility problem, not a service problem.
These are the 3PLs currently winning AI recommendations in your market. Understanding why they are cited, and you are not, reveals the exact gap to close.

These are the highest-leverage changes Crown Fulfillment can make right now to start appearing in AI-generated recommendations within 60 to 120 days.
AI models build 3PL recommendations almost entirely from directory rankings and verified reviews. Creating profiles on Clutch, G2, Fulfill.com, and Trustpilot, then collecting 10 to 15 verified client reviews, will immediately give AI engines the structured data signals they need to include Crown in recommendation lists. This is the single fastest path to AI visibility for a 3PL.
Create comprehensive, structured comparison pages targeting the exact buyer queries AI tools answer: "Crown Fulfillment vs ShipBob", "Best affordable 3PL in New Jersey", "Best FBA prep service near NYC". Include FAQ schema, pricing comparison tables, and honest positioning. ShipHype (DR 31) proves you do not need massive domain authority to win AI results: their content strategy alone earned them Google AIO placement.
Crown's proximity to the Port of NY/NJ is a genuine differentiator. Publish guides targeting "best 3PL for TikTok Shop sellers", "Shopify fulfillment near New York", and "FBA prep Elizabeth NJ" with structured data, FAQ schema, and clear Q&A formats. This content will compound over time and establish Crown as the go-to NJ fulfillment authority in both traditional and AI search.
While auditing your AI visibility we also reviewed your website. We found several specific, fixable issues that are holding back both search performance and client confidence.
The contact section on usethecrown.com displays "YOUR_PHONE_NUMBER" as the business phone number, both visually on the page and inside the JSON-LD structured data (LocalBusiness schema). This is a deployment error that immediately undermines trust with prospective clients and sends broken signals to Google and AI crawlers. A seller evaluating 3PL partners who sees a placeholder phone number is likely to close the tab and move on.
The site's LocalBusiness schema includes a "sameAs" property that is completely empty, with no social media profiles linked. Google and AI models use sameAs to verify brand identity and cross-reference authority signals. Without linked LinkedIn, Instagram, or Facebook profiles, Crown misses a key trust signal that competitors provide. This also means no social proof appears in Knowledge Panels or AI-generated brand summaries.
We could not find a robots.txt file at usethecrown.com/robots.txt. Without an explicit robots.txt, the site relies on server defaults, which may or may not allow AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended) to index content. Additionally, there is no llms.txt file, which is the emerging standard for telling AI models what your business does and how to cite you. Both are quick wins that directly impact AI discoverability.
These are not cosmetic issues. A placeholder phone number, missing social links, and absent crawler directives directly reduce the trust signals that both search engines and AI models use to decide whether to recommend a business. Fixing these alongside your AI visibility strategy creates a compounding effect: better website foundations make every piece of new content work harder.
Saigon Digital is a full-service web development agency at its core. We do not just advise on AI visibility: we build, fix, and maintain the websites that power it. Whether Crown needs a complete site rebuild, technical fixes, or ongoing web support, we handle the full stack so your digital presence works as hard as your warehouse does.
This audit shows the problem. We have a clear strategy to fix it, and results typically show within the first 60 days of engagement.
Crown Fulfillment has a genuinely competitive offering: affordable same-day 3PL, FBA prep, kitting, and multi-platform support, all minutes from the Port of NY/NJ. What is missing is the digital visibility layer that converts that operational strength into client enquiries. We propose a two-phase approach: a fixed-price foundation sprint covering AI/GEO optimisation, SEO, website repositioning and technical fixes, flowing into an ongoing monthly retainer for continued SEO/GEO growth, content publishing, and web maintenance. This is how a free audit becomes a five-figure engagement that compounds month over month.

Full GEO/AI visibility strategy, directory listing setup (Clutch, G2, Fulfill.com, Trustpilot), structured data and schema implementation, comparison content creation, website technical fixes (placeholder content, robots.txt, llms.txt, social links), and a content roadmap targeting the buyer queries that matter most for 3PL discovery.
Ongoing SEO and GEO content publishing, authority-building outreach, review collection campaigns, website maintenance and performance monitoring, monthly reporting on AI citation growth and organic traffic. Most clients see measurable AI visibility improvements within 45 to 60 days, with competitive parity in 90 to 120 days.
Every month competitors like ShipBob, ShipHype, and eFulfillment Service publish more comparison content, the gap widens. Ecommerce sellers are increasingly asking AI "which 3PL should I use?" and right now, the answer never includes Crown Fulfillment. With a DR of 2 and zero ranking keywords, every day without action is a day your competitors build authority that becomes harder to close.
